Belarus president's visit to China over

The state visit of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko to the People's Republic of China is over. The aircraft with the Belarusian head of state on board has left the Beijing airport, BelTA has learned.

During the visit Alexander Lukashenko negotiated with China President Xi Jinping. The sides confirmed the transition to a new special level of the dialogue and signed a joint declaration on establishing relations of trustful comprehensive strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation.

About 30 documents on advancing cooperation, including in trade, investments, production sector, education and science, were signed in the presence of the heads of state.

The Belarus President visited the Peking University where he met with representatives of the university administration and students. Alexander Lukashenko answered their questions.

In Beijing the Belarusian head of state also met with Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress Zhang Dejiang, and Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Yu Zhengsheng.

Before leaving Beijing Alexander Lukashenko laid a wreath at the Monument to the People's Heroes.
