The session was chaired by First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin. Representatives of interested government agencies and business unions discussed and approved the most pressing tax policy issues, focusing on which in 2019 is most advisable. The topics to be looked into include systematization and optimization of tax preferences, the removal of multiplying coefficients from property taxes, and the removal of restrictions from VAT rebates.
