Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko will be in Tajikistan on a working visit on 15-17 September, BelTA has learned.
In Dushanbe Aleksandr Lukashenko will participate in a session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and a session of the Heads of State Council of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states. Apart from that, a meeting of the SCO and CSTO heads of state will be held in Tajikistan's capital upon a proposal of the Belarusian leader. The meeting will focus on the situation in Afghanistan and measures to ensure security in the region.
The Belarus president is also expected to talk to foreign leaders on the sidelines of these events.
