Independence Day parade in Minsk to feature about 80 units of civilian machinery

About 80 units of civilian machinery will be on show at the military parade to mark Independence Day of Belarus on 3 July, press secretary of the Belarusian Industry Ministry Oksana Karuna told BelTA.

“On 17 May the Industry Ministry hosted a meeting of the working group on the preparations for the Independence Day parade. Among the organizational issues discussed were the number of participating enterprises, format, and the model range of equipment. Taking part in the parade will be the machinery of the Industry Ministry enterprises. The majority will be new or upgraded models of equipment,” Oksana Karuna said. In particular, these will be MAZ, BelAZ, Amkodor, Gomselmash, MTZ and BelGee products.

“A display of civilian machinery at the parade will celebrate the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders, commemorate the immortal feat of millions of fighters and commanders, as well as workers of industrial enterprises. For the representatives of the sector it is a high honor and at the same time a high responsibility. Therefore, the organizational component will be given the closest attention from both the Industry Ministry and manufacturing enterprises,” the press secretary said.
