More than 18,000 polling stations will be established in Belarus for the elections to the local councils of deputies due in 2018, BelTA learned from the website of the Belarusian Central Election Commission.
In particular, 2,962 polling stations will be set up in Brest Oblast, 3,112 in Vitebsk Oblast, 3,584 in Gomel Oblast, 2,389 in Grodno Oblast, 3,451 in Minsk Oblast, 2,556 in Mogilev Oblast, and 57 in Minsk. The total amount of polling stations in Belarus will reach 18,111.

The Belarusian Red Cross Society will host its sixth international school on preparedness for emergencies on 25-30 July, BelTA learned from the Belarus Red Cross.
Attending the school will be 120 people from ten countries such as Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Bulgaria, Latvia, Norway, Estonia, Qatar, and Belarus. Among the invitees are experts from the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
