Belarus’ GDP up 1.3% in January
MINSK, 11 February (BelTA) – In January 2010 Belarus’ GDP was up 1.3% over the same period last year to Br9.834trillion, BelTA learnt from the National Statistics Committee. In January the industrial output increased by 2.5% as against January last year to Br10.44 trillion. The production of consumer goods amounted to Br2.419 trillion (up 5%), including foods - Br1.317 trillion (up 5.1%), nonfoods - Br960 billion (up 5.8%). БЕЛТА

Trans-boundary route to take tourists to natural sites of Belarus, Latvia
MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) – The trans-boundary route dubbed as Natura Bella Dvina will take tourists to the protected natural sites of Belarus and Latvia, PR manager of the project Marina Borisova told BelTA. Belarus should intensify efforts to raise foreign investments in 2010
MINSK, 2 February (BelTA) – In 2010 Belarus should drastically intensify efforts to attract foreign investors, First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko said at a session of the Council of Ministers on 2 February, BelTA has learnt.
