Lukashenko sends National Day greetings to Switzerland
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to the people of Switzerland as the country celebrates National Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.
“The peoples of Belarus and Switzerland have the same attitude towards the need to maintain peace, advocate the restoration of a sustainable and fair world order based on the norms and principles of international law,” the message of greetings reads.
The head of state pointed out that Minsk is always ready to support Bern's diplomatic initiatives to resolve disputes in Europe, based on equality and indivisible security.
“I hope that the Swiss authorities will have enough political wisdom and character to preserve the unique neutral status of their state in international affairs, relying on their own interests and the will of their residents,” the president emphasized.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the friendly multinational people of Switzerland peaceful skies, harmony and confidence in the future.
