EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
For the second year, the department of urgent social assistance has been operating at the territorial center for social services to the population. Its employees have become indispensable helpers for lonely elderly people, as well as those living alone. During June, July, and August, assistance was provided to 86 pensioners over the age of 60. The most requested services include grass mowing with a string trimmer, chopping, sawing, and stacking firewood, painting, and potato digging, and during spring – soil cultivation. The department also provides services of four caregivers and transport delivery. The income from one-off services of the department for June, July, and August amounted to five million 513 thousand rubles, from caregivers' work – two million 874 thousand, and from transport services – one million rubles.
COMPLETED TREATMENT COURSE
The Children's Regional Hospital for Medical Rehabilitation for children with musculoskeletal disorders has created proper conditions for the treatment of orthopedic diseases. In June, 38 children completed the necessary treatment course here, in July – 69, and during August – 50.
