Interest in the Internet is growing
High-speed internet access via the landline telephone network is currently used by 6.5 thousand people in our city and district. Since the beginning of the current year, the number of internet users has increased by more than 700.
Interactive "Zala"
Terrestrial television will be replaced by digital. Most residents of the city and district already have an alternative; they can connect to high-quality digital interactive television "Zala" with its dozens of TV channels at any time. Upon request, specialists from the district electric communication hub will do this for all those who have a landline telephone set installed at home or in their apartment. For a certain monthly fee, 4,700 subscribers in the Lepel region are already watching TV programs this way, including 540 people who connected to the interactive television "Zala" for the first time in January-July of the current year.
An additional 584 million was collected
Based on the results of the control work by the inspection of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties for the Lepel district, for January-June 2013 alone, an additional 584 million rubles were collected into the budget from active business entities, including fines – 139.9 million rubles.
