A traditional international tournament was held at the Handball Youth Sports School. Teams from Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus participated. Our country was represented by handball enthusiasts from Minsk, Polotsk, and Lepel.

A traditional international tournament was held at the Handball Youth Sports School. Teams from Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus participated. Our country was represented by handball enthusiasts from Minsk, Polotsk, and Lepel. Although our compatriots did not take a prize-winning place in these competitions, this is not the main thing. The tournament has long turned into an annual meeting of friends who cannot imagine their lives without their favorite sport.
Road Workers' Competitions
The regional competitions of the IX Summer Spartakiad of RUP "Vitebskavtodor" were held in Glubokoye. Eleven teams, about 200 top athletes, participated. The strongest were identified in mini-football, volleyball, athletics, and table tennis. An athletics relay race, consisting of three stages, was counted as a separate competition. The road workers of DEU-37 performed successfully in the Spartakiad, taking third place overall. The greatest contribution to the overall success was made by quality engineer Victoria Vorgan, road master Vladimir Mefodiev, head of the linear road facility Yevgeny Shlyazhko, driver Sergey Shastitko, gas and electric welder Sergey Turchin, and others.
