The procedure for educators to prevent and detect violence and exploitation against minors was discussed today by educators from the Lepel region at a meeting with the Prosecutor of Lepel District, Vitaly Zhigimont.

The team of the Department of Agriculture and Food of the Vetka District Executive Committee has become the most athletic in the region. It rightfully earned its title at the joint sports event of the Committee for Agriculture and Food of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee and the regional trade union organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Agricultural Workers, which took place on February 22 at the Gomel District Olympic Reserve Children and Youth Sports School.

Violence and exploitation of minors are serious problems that require societal attention. Educators play a key role in identifying and preventing such cases, as they are in direct contact with children and can notice changes in their behavior or condition.

The prosecutor emphasized the importance of interaction between educational institutions and law enforcement agencies:

Effective cooperation allows for prompt response to cases of violence, as well as the implementation of preventive measures. It is important for educators to know how to act correctly when identifying suspicious situations, including notifying the relevant services.
