On October 1, a concert dedicated to the Day of the Elderly was held at the district cultural center.

The attendees were congratulated on the holiday by Marina Inozemtseva, Head of the Department of Labour, Employment and Social Protection of the Lepel District Executive Committee, Vasily Pshenko, Chairman of the district organisation of the public association of veterans, and Archpriest Sergey Leshkevich.
