On October 13, the Traffic Police Department of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs will hold a comprehensive preventive event "Driver-Pedestrian: Communication According to the Rules!"

Since the beginning of the year, 26 road traffic accidents involving minors have been registered in the Vitebsk region (31 in 2022), in which 1 child died and 30 were injured. 12 of them were child pedestrians.

To prevent such tragedies, the traffic police of Lepel district will hold a set of preventive measures "Driver-Pedestrian: Communication According to the Rules!" on October 13, aimed at preventing road traffic accidents at pedestrian crossings.
As part of the measures, traffic police officers will conduct preventive talks and organize raid activities near pedestrian crossings.
