The cohesive team of the robotic dairy complex at the agricultural branch "Zaazerye" of JSC "Vitebsk Meat Packing Plant" rightfully ranks among the leaders in agricultural production in the district. Every week, tons of milk are sent from this farm for further processing. The complex, as it should be, has a full cycle of animal care organized – from young calves to high-yielding cows.
The dairy herd begins here in the prophylaxis unit, where young calves are kept. The first impression is one of exemplary cleanliness. One could walk on the floor in slippers without getting their feet dirty. Employees care for the young stock, feed them, and administer preventative vaccinations, as evidenced by the coloured marks on the animals' heads. Initially, the calves are distrustful of strangers, trying to run away and hide, but this distrust quickly gives way to curiosity and a desire to play. The bull calves and heifers reach out to visitors, enjoying being scratched behind the ears.
Alesya Glazko (in the photo) has been working at the complex at the agricultural branch "Zaazerye" of JSC "Vitebsk Meat Packing Plant" for several years. The young woman did not find her workplace immediately, but gradually mastered her work duties and proved herself to be a responsible employee. She always strokes a bull calf or a heifer, and they respond with affection.
