On September 17, a ceremonial event dedicated to Forest Worker's Day was held in Vitebsk. This day is traditionally celebrated on the third Sunday of September.

Employees from all forestry enterprises of the region, including Lepel, arrived in the northern capital to congratulate their colleagues and receive well-deserved awards for their hard work.

In recent years, there have been many challenges from natural elements. It takes only a moment to destroy the work of more than one generation of foresters. However, thanks to the strong character of forestry workers, the strength of their spirit, and their creative labor, they honorably serve to preserve and multiply forest resources.
