Natalia Zhurba and Veronika Syichik from Lepel, leaders of the Lepel District organization of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union (BRSM), took part in the event as part of the Vitebsk region delegation.

Meanings and values – through cultural code

The entire evening in the hall was a discussion about what unites the peoples of the two countries, what Belarusians and Russians cherish and are immensely proud of. This is a dialogue in the language of cultures, with contributions from the best ensembles of the two states.

A surprise for the audience was the performance of the State Ensemble of Russian Cossacks from Volgograd, created to preserve Cossack culture. The ensemble presented the audience with several dance, vocal, and instrumental numbers. Among them were the famous and beloved "Katyusha," "Lyavonikha," the Cossack dance "Oysya ty, oysya," and others.
