On 25 September 2025, a Unified Safety Day will be held in Lepel District. Its aim is to train the population on actions during fires, emergency situations, and first aid for victims.

Every day, each person visits public places: shopping centres, polyclinics, schools, cinemas, and clubs, where evacuation skills, the ability to read evacuation plans and follow directional signs, as well as an understanding of crowd behaviour rules, can be useful.

On 25 September, a large-scale event involving interested services and organisations of the district will take place at the educational institution "Borovskaya Secondary School named after G.K. Zhukov" at 10:00. A concert programme, competitions and quizzes on life safety fundamentals, interactive stands, photo zones, familiarisation with special equipment, and much more await you.

Furthermore, as part of the Unified Safety Day, rescuers from the region will assist in conducting practical evacuation drills at many public gathering places – from educational institutions to large organisations and enterprises. These drills will help everyone recall the necessary actions in case of an emergency.

We invite everyone who cares about their own safety to participate in the event!

Rescuers remind you:

If you hear a fire alarm in a shopping centre or other organisations:

- Do not panic;

- Leave the premises following the evacuation signs;

- Call 112;

- Move away from the smoke, staying low to the floor and covering your respiratory organs.

If a fire starts at your workplace:

- Do not panic, call 112;

- switch off electrical appliances;

- notify colleagues about the fire;

- use a fire extinguisher if possible;

- leave the premises.
