The 30th anniversary of the institution of the presidency in our country, the upcoming elections of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the upbringing of youth, and the significance of the army in the lives of young citizens – these important topics were discussed today during a comprehensive conversation with servicemen of the 231st Artillery Brigade.
Veronika Khombak, Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, and Viktor Azaryonok, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic, arrived at the meeting with representatives of the Armed Forces.
The current times demand that each of us think not only about ourselves but also about the country, about the future of our state. It is not for nothing that they say that great things are seen from a distance. After 30 years, one understands with particular clarity that July 10, 1994, when Belarusians joyfully learned the name of their President, became a turning point in the sovereign history of Belarus, – noted Veronika Khombak.
I want to note that there is not a single indifferent person, and the topic of elections is the most discussed among the region's residents today. The time that has passed since the last elections has become a time of realization and re-evaluation for Belarusians: we have realized how fragile today's world is. Today, the voice of each person, the actions and deeds of each of us, are reflected in the fate of the country. Every Belarusian knows what needs to be done: to come to the polling station and cast a vote for a person who, through many years of daily work, has created, strengthened, and preserved our beloved Belarus, – added the Deputy of the House of Representatives.
