1. Braking system. This is mainly due to insufficient specific braking force of the vehicle and leaks in the hydraulic brake system.
2. External lighting devices (>20% failures). In addition to other signs, the adjustment indicators for low and high beam headlights and fog lights are assessed.3. Equipment. Engineers will check for the presence and compliance with requirements of a fire extinguisher, first-aid kit, and emergency stop sign. If the headrests and seats provided by the design are missing or not securely fastened, this will also be a reason for rejection.
4. Steering system. The main reason here is exceeding the total steering play and damage to steering mechanism parts.
5. Engine and its systems. Diagnostic stations assess a number of environmental indicators: oil and operating fluid leaks, exhaust smoke, carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon content in exhaust gases, and exhaust noise levels.
