A rally at the V.I. Lenin monument brought together those for whom this date remains a symbol of a historical turning point, social justice, and national revival.

The participants were addressed by Veronika Khombak, Deputy Chairperson of the District Executive Committee, who congratulated the attendees on the holiday, as well as Yevgeny Yasko, First Secretary of the Lepel District Organization of the Communist Party of Belarus.

“We celebrate this holiday with pride and gratitude to those who fought for a bright future for the working people, for a life without slavery and material equality. We live in a free, strong, and independent country, and we are proud of it!” emphasized Yevgeny Yasko.

The participants of the celebration laid flowers at the foot of the V.I. Lenin monument as a tribute to the founder of the Soviet state.

By preserving this day among other memorable dates, we thereby pay tribute to millions of people for whom this was the main state holiday for many years.
