June 1st is celebrated worldwide as a wonderful holiday – Children's Day.

In our country, the interests of young citizens are comprehensively protected by legislation and are safeguarded by the Constitution, the Code on Marriage and Family, and the Law "On the Rights of the Child".

In the Lepel district, 89 infants have been registered in the first five months of 2023, which is 10 more than in the same period last year.

The youngest mother is 17 years old, three children were born to mothers over 40 years of age, and one man became a father at 57!

On average, men became fathers at the age of 30, and women became mothers at 28.

Firstborns were born to 34 mothers, the second child arrived for 32 parents, and 16 children became the third in the family.

And our record holders: five families welcomed their fourth child, and two families became parents to their fifth child in 2023!

The most popular names in 2023 were Sofia and Kira for girls, and Vladislav and Mikhail for boys.

We wish young parents peaceful nights, patience, strength, mutual understanding, and love!
