14 November, Minsk /BelTA correspondent/. The monthly subscription fee for landline telephones for individuals will increase from Br3050 to Br4600, or by 50.8%, from 15 November 2011. This is stipulated by Resolution No. 184 of the Ministry of Economy of Belarus dated 10 November 2011, the Ministry of Economy informed BelTA correspondent.
This document also establishes a new time-based fee for each full or partial minute of connection – Br15. Previously, the tariff for one minute was Br10. Moreover, the first 60 minutes, as before, are provided to the subscriber free of charge, and time-based payment is applied for usage exceeding this limit.
In addition, the fee for telephones not switched to the time-based payment system has also increased to Br6600.
For legal entities, the subscription fee will increase from Br4600 to Br7500. The cost of one minute of conversation for organisations will be Br30.
Commenting on this resolution, the Ministry of Economy noted that the increase in tariffs for telecommunication services has been adopted to reduce losses on these services. -0-
