For about an hour, phones with velcom SIM cards have been trying to find their operator, but without success. At the operator's office in Vitebsk, a technical failure is cited as the probable cause of the network outage, and it is currently difficult to say how long subscribers' phones will be out of reach. According to company employees, communication is unavailable in Vitebsk, Novopolotsk, and partially in Polotsk and Minsk. In other regions of Belarus, communication is working. Currently, in Vitebsk, one can observe people looking at their phones with bewilderment, pressing buttons, removing and reinserting SIM cards. At the operator's office in Vitebsk, according to the correspondent's observation, at least four people have approached employees with the same question in just five minutes: what happened to the communication. -0-
