A total of 30 hectares of vegetables have been harvested out of almost 170 hectares planned. The main areas are located in the Vitebsk, Orsha, and Polotsk districts. Over a thousand tonnes of agricultural products have been collected, including 440 tonnes of cabbage from 10 hectares, 320 tonnes of beetroot from 8 hectares, 127 tonnes of carrots from 4 hectares, and 154 tonnes of onions from 7 hectares.
The committee noted that the sowing of winter cereals is actively underway in the region. 77.8 thousand hectares have already been sown, which is 30.4% of the plan. Agricultural workers need just a few fine days to complete the harvesting of the remaining 5.4% of spring rapeseed areas. This work has been fully completed in the Chashniki, Gorodok, and Verkhnedvinsk districts. The pressing of flax straw continues. This work has been completed by 41%.
