A question-and-answer session "Two Sisters – Belarus and Russia" was held at the Todar Klyashtorny Kamenskaya Rural Library, with the participation of local schoolchildren. A dialogue-conversation "Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia" took place at the library of the agro-town of Staroye Lyadno. A historical media presentation using a computer, "We Lived Together for a Hundred Years," gathered library readers in Slabada. A thematic excursion-exhibition "Festival of Friendship and Brotherhood" and a unity exhibition "Russia and Belarus: Common History, Common Destiny" were arranged in Stai and Polsvizh, respectively.
Class and information hours on relevant topics were held in a number of schools in the town and district.
