On March 6, Vitebsk /Diana Kurilo - BELTA/. The most difficult profession on earth, according to the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Kosinets, is motherhood. Today, the governor solemnly presented the Order of Motherhood to four residents of the Vitebsk region, a BELTA correspondent reports. "Many beautiful words praise women, but the most important of them is 'mother'. There is nothing holier in the world than a woman who has given life. The most difficult profession is to give birth to and raise a child," emphasized Alexander Kosinets. In the Vitebsk region, 596 women are raising five or more children. The Order of Motherhood has been awarded to 553 residents of the Dvina region. Today, four more women received their well-deserved award - Irina Patsienko, Natalia Udot, who is raising three biological and three adopted children, Natalia Shinko, and Natalia Efremova. Women make a huge contribution to the socio-economic development of the region. There are 657 thousand women living in the Vitebsk region, 21 thousand of them work in the system of state bodies and administration, and 71% of women work in the fields of healthcare, education, culture, and construction. "By honoring women, we recognize their enormous merits to the family, society, and the state. We rightly take pride in our countrywomen. Everywhere you not only work excellently but also act as initiators of a creative approach to your work," said Alexander Kosinets. -0-
