The "Cultural Capital of Belarus" campaign launches in Novopolotsk on January 23

The grand opening of the "Cultural Capital of Belarus" campaign will take place in Novopolotsk on January 23, the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee informed BELTA.

Festive events dedicated to the cultural capital of 2018 will be held at several venues. A "Treasure Chest of Creativity" exhibition-presentation will be organized at the Culture Center, where cultural institutions will showcase their achievements. The best creative groups will perform on the stage of the Palace of Culture of OJSC "Naftan". The official opening of the "Cultural Capital of Belarus" campaign will also take place here.

It is planned that the leadership of the Ministry of Culture, the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, and the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee will participate in the solemn event.
