All citizens – children and their parents, grandparents – are invited to creatively demonstrate their knowledge and correct understanding of the Traffic Rules. To participate in the campaign, one of the organizers' tasks on road safety must be completed. This could include devising a slogan, taking an original photograph against the backdrop of a road sign, creating a drawing or banner, writing a short essay, composing a poem, or proposing a design for an emblem or badge for the "Become More Visible" campaign. When questioned on the street by a traffic inspector, participants must cite one or more traffic rules and explain in their own words why they must be followed and never violated.
"Anyone wishing to join the campaign must register at the Department of Education, Sports and Tourism of the city executive committee, specifically at the Palace of Children and Youth, and submit their work in one of the categories. All participants, including those who provide correct answers during the traffic police's street surveys, will receive reflective elements as encouragement, and the winners will receive diplomas and commemorative prizes. In this way, we aim to create an informational wave that will affect not only the active participants of the campaign but also their surroundings – that is, the entire city. After all, people's safety primarily depends on themselves," explained Vladimir Belyaev, Deputy Head of the Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs of the city executive committee.
The "Become More Visible" campaign is organised by the Department of Education, Sports and Tourism, the Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs, the Traffic Police of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Novopolotsk City Executive Committee, and the city committee of the BRSM (Belarusian Republican Youth Union).
