To draw adults' attention to the problem of child injuries and fatalities due to leaving them unattended, a preventive campaign "Focus on Children!" will be held in two stages in Lepel district from August 21 to September 15.

Thus, from August 22 to August 31, in shopping centers and other retail outlets specializing in goods for preschool and school-aged children, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will remind parents about the dangers of leaving children unattended and advise on how to protect their families from emergencies.

The venues for the second stage of the campaign, which will run from September 1 to September 15, will be educational institutions and public places. In schools, rescuers will conduct "Safety Lessons" for junior students, fire safety briefings for teachers, and preventive talks with parents, including the viewing of thematic videos. True safety celebrations will unfold in crowded places. Numerous interactive zones will be organized there, where everyone can practice the basic safety rules.

Dear parents: teach your child the rules of safe behavior every day. Use non-standard methods for this: play with them, show educational cartoons and videos, and use examples from fairy tales.

And, of course, be an example for your children: if you always turn off electrical appliances when leaving home, your child will do the same. Children follow actions, not advice, so observe safety rules together! If it comes to young children, there is only one piece of advice – do not leave them unattended, even for a few minutes.
