To enhance public safety and prevent fires and related fatalities in residential buildings, a nationwide campaign "For Safety Together" will be held in the Lepel district from April 2 to April 19.
The campaign aims to reduce the number of fires caused by citizens' non-compliance with fire safety regulations in residential buildings and structures, settlements, and territories.
During the campaign, rescuers will inform the public about the fire safety situation, explain the consequences of non-compliance with fire safety rules, leaving children unattended, and alcohol abuse.
In addition to rescuers, all prevention entities in the district will participate in the campaign, including the Department of Internal Affairs, social services, healthcare, education, housing and communal services, and others. Joint raids, information exchange, meetings with work collectives, and large-scale public events are planned as part of the campaign.
Every resident of the district can contact the District Department for Emergency Situations to have their home inspected for compliance with fire safety regulations and receive recommendations from rescuers.
