As part of the "For Safety Together" campaign, Lepel rescuers are conducting preventive measures aimed at preventing fires and deaths from them. Over the ten days of the campaign, employees of the Lepel District Department for Emergency Situations (ROChS), together with representatives of other interested prevention entities, have visited more than 150 households of citizens from various categories. During household visits, the commission carries out a comprehensive analysis of the safe living conditions of citizens.
Concurrently with household surveys, active work is being carried out to educate citizens on fire safety in the workplace by conducting discussions with employees of organizations and enterprises in the Lepel district. Since the start of the campaign, ROChS employees have given 7 presentations to work collectives. During these presentations, information is provided to attendees on the operational situation regarding fires and emergencies in the district, as well as on the necessity of complying with requirements aimed at bringing citizens' households into a fire-safe condition, and how to act in case of a fire.
Taking into account the weather conditions, ROChS employees are focusing on preventing fires in natural ecosystems, prohibiting the burning of dry vegetation, and tidying up adjacent territories.
