As part of the "Attention! Self-propelled machines and tractors!" campaign, officers of the traffic police department of the Lepel District Department of Internal Affairs, together with Valeriy Leshchenko, Chief State Inspector for supervision of the technical condition of machines and equipment of the agricultural and food department of the district executive committee, conducted raid activities.

Particular attention was paid to the serviceability of external lighting devices, the installation of orange flashing beacons, and reflective elements on agricultural machinery. They also checked attached equipment, the completeness of agricultural machinery's permits for participation in road traffic, and its technical condition.

Attention was also paid to the presence of documents confirming the admission to road traffic of other vehicles used during autumn field work, and to the physical condition of drivers and machine operators.

At the UP "Lepelskoye" agricultural production cooperative, safety briefings were held for autumn field work and for the dispatch of transport to the field.
