From October 25, the republican campaign "For Safety Together" will start in the Lepel region.
With the aim of reducing the risks of people's deaths from external causes, including fires, due to citizens' non-compliance with the fundamentals of life safety, as well as increasing public awareness in the field of fire safety and the capabilities of state organizations to provide services (assistance) in the field of fire safety, strengthening law and order and preventing offenses committed by citizens in a state of alcoholic intoxication, from October 25 to November 2, 2025, the republican campaign "For Safety Together" will be held on the territory of the Vitebsk region.
Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Information, the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Energy will take part in the preventive measures.
Traditionally, first and foremost, the prevention entities will pay attention to families in which children are in a socially dangerous situation, lonely and single elderly citizens, disabled people, citizens who use their homes for drinking alcoholic beverages, people leading an anti-social lifestyle, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, and other socially vulnerable categories of citizens.
Every resident of the district can contact the district department for emergency situations to inspect their housing for compliance with fire safety rules and receive recommendations from rescuers.
