One of the priority areas in the activities of the State Automobile Inspectorate is the detection of drivers in a state of alcoholic intoxication and their removal from driving vehicles. More than 240 people were detained for driving while intoxicated in the Lepel district, including 12 for the second time within a year. As we can see, the problem of traffic accidents caused by drivers in a state of alcoholic intoxication is quite relevant, therefore, with the aim of preventing such offenses, the republican campaign "Stop the Disaster!" is being held from December 7 to January 7.
The main danger of even mild intoxication lies in the fact that in such a state it is very difficult to adequately assess the situation on the road and make the right decision instantly.
