As per the Head of State's directive, the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Aleksandr Rogozhnik, is on a working visit to the Brest Region for two days.
Aleksandr Rogozhnik, accompanied by the First Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee, Dmitry Gorodetsky, visited the "Savushkin" company's sites in Beryoza and Beryoza District.
The purpose of the visit is to study effective milk processing practices and modern technologies for dairy product manufacturing.
At the "Savushkin" production branch in Beryoza, which has become one of the largest investment projects in the district, the delegation was presented with the results of two large-scale modernisations.
The plant, automated to 90%, is currently the largest cheese production site in the CIS, with a processing capacity of up to 1500 tonnes of milk and 1800 tonnes of whey per day.
