"The sowing campaign is almost complete, with only corn, buckwheat, and millet left to sow. We are already preparing for fodder procurement, crop harvesting, and even for next year's sowing campaign. We visited the motor repair plant to demonstrate what is done here, how machinery is restored, the condition in which parts arrive at the enterprise, and the resulting outcome, highlighting how complex this task is. The machinery at the region's agricultural enterprises is significantly worn out, and sometimes consumables are not replaced on time. The machinery has not always been maintained properly, and now titanic efforts are required to bring a large number of units into working order and get them into the fields. In this regard, we are critical of ourselves. However, if everything is done intelligently and on time, and the machinery is treated more carefully, it will be much easier. Then large sums will not be needed for expensive major repairs. The qualifications of the specialists and the production capacities are sufficient for working with the machinery, but one always wants more, there is room for growth. Nevertheless, we are quite successfully coping with both the preparation of machinery and the spring field work," said the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee.
Aleksandr Subbotin noted that a seminar on fodder procurement is planned to be held in field conditions in a week to a week and a half.
