The head of the region set the farmers the task to increase the pace of the harvesting campaign and complete the grain harvest by August 20.
Among the leading districts, the grain growers of Shumilino District (93.1% harvested), Chashniki District (89.5% harvested), and Postavy District (88.9% harvested) were noted.
The Minister of Agriculture and Food Anatoly Linevich drew attention to the need to mobilize all forces in the region during the harvest season.
The first deputy chairman of the regional executive committee Gennady Sabynich focused on the timely preparation of vegetable and potato harvesting machinery.
