The current task for agricultural workers is one – to enter the spring sowing campaign as quickly as possible, completing all operations within the allocated agro-technical deadlines. This was stated by the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexander Subbotin, during a working trip to the Orsha District.
The discussion on the progress of the upcoming sowing campaign was attended by the Chairman of the Standing Commission of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus for Regional Policy and Local Self-Government, Leonid Zayats, the leadership of the Orsha District Executive Committee, and directors of certain agricultural enterprises. Problematic issues were also raised and solutions were outlined.
– At the moment when weather conditions permit, it is necessary to sow without delay and with high quality. Equipment (readiness across the region is about 90%), seeds, fertilizers – there is still enough work in all areas today. All of this needs to be linked into a single chain so that the system works without failures, – emphasized Alexander Subbotin.
