On May 27, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has promised to dismiss the government if it fails to ensure stability in the country. The Head of State announced this today at a meeting on the current situation in the consumer and foreign exchange market, according to a BELTA correspondent.
"If you have accurately calculated the currency price, that Br5 thousand will curb speculative demand, then ensure a single exchange rate. But there must be dynamics every day. If there are no such dynamics, you will be the first - Mikhail Vladimirovich (Myasnikovich. - BELTA note) and Petr Petrovich (Prokopovich. - BELTA note) - to lay down your party cards, in the Soviet parlance," the President emphasized.
Alexander Lukashenko demanded that all those who sabotage the decisions of the country's leadership be brought under control. "If a decision has been made today that it is unacceptable to profit from problems, and someone is doing it, then use any methods: revoke licenses, send them to prison," the President said.
Addressing those present at the meeting, the Head of State warned that he "has not come today to send someone out into the street with a broom." "But I warn you: if you do not fulfill my demands, heads will roll. You will not make me a crisis manager anymore. Everyone has their portfolio – work!" the President stressed.
"Remember one thing – they will not give us a peaceful life. We knew this in the middle of last year, we were warned: we will show you Kuzma's mother in April-May. Which they did. They started with rumors, generated a stir. It's good that they haven't started a war yet, as in Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Spain, Greece, etc.," the Head of State noted.
"So wake up and come to your senses if you want to live in a peaceful country," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.
According to the President, it is now clear who is fueling this stir and wants to grab all the best that Belarus has. "They want assets, you see! Money upfront – chairs tomorrow," the Head of State said. -0-
