May 10, Minsk Region /Lyudmila Sats - BELTA/. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will review the performance of the Council for the Development of Entrepreneurship in Belarus. The Head of State announced this today during his visit to JV "Henkel Bautechnik" near Zaslavl, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. "I am seriously considering how to modernise the Council for Entrepreneurship, which is performing extremely poorly," said Alexander Lukashenko. "I thought entrepreneurs would directly submit proposals to me, including on improving legislation and the tax system. But this is not happening," noted the Head of State. Therefore, it is time to change the principles of the council's work. "This year, we need to think about making this mechanism work, to ensure feedback from the business community," stressed the President. Alexander Lukashenko believes that people who have already established themselves in business should be included in the council. "Entrepreneurs should express an alternative point of view to the official one on issues of entrepreneurship development," said the Head of State. Today, the President visited JV "Henkel Bautechnik" and familiarised himself with the operations of this enterprise, which was established with foreign investment. The Head of State listened to the opinion of the General Director of JV "Henkel Bautechnik" Sergey Novitsky on many current issues of production development in Belarus, including taxation, problematic issues in the foreign exchange market, and personnel matters. The President inspected the production workshops of JV "Henkel Bautechnik", including the dry mix preparation workshop, the laboratory, and the packaging workshops. JV "Henkel Bautechnik" represents the construction chemicals division of the Henkel concern in the Republic of Belarus. The enterprise was established in 2004 with the aim of organising the production of import-substituting products. The use of local raw materials has reduced product costs by 15-20% compared to imported analogues. The products of "Henkel Bautechnik" comply with the requirements of two quality standard systems – STB and European norms. The enterprise has its own accredited laboratory, which ensures a consistently high level of quality for its manufactured products. Ceresit products of Belarusian production receive the highest quality reviews from professionals in the Belarusian construction market. The average number of employees at the enterprise is 139.
