He expressed this opinion in an interview with major German media outlets, according to a BELTA correspondent. Alexander Lukashenko noted that in order to pursue a policy of dictatorship, one must possess resources that Belarus does not have. "We do not have such resources, and I do not have them, to be a dictator," said the head of the Belarusian state. "And secondly, it is not my nature, it is not personally my nature. I have never been a dictator and never will be, because I was not born to be one. One must be born a dictator. I will never disrupt the harmony of our society. And I will never go against the will of our society! Ne-ver! And it has never been in the character of our people to strive for dictatorship or to place a dictator on the throne. Never!" emphasized Alexander Lukashenko. "Today, only one country possesses such a resource to be a dictatorship on a global scale - the United States of America, and it pursues a policy of dictatorship. They wanted to - they started a war in Iraq, they wanted to - they bomb Afghanistan (even earlier - Vietnam and so on, and so forth). And no one says that it is a dictatorship there. So where are the German democratic journalists? But Lukashenko is a dictatorship," the President noted. He also added that it is very easy for him to talk on this topic with Germans, since this country directly faced the policy of dictatorship at one time. "There is only one conclusion: dictatorship is harmful to any society. Sooner or later, it will lead to the collapse of that society and state," said the President of Belarus.-0-
