Therefore, the most important task is to learn how to earn money, to calculate not only revenue, but also profit from sales. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, speaking today at the republican festival-fair of agricultural workers "Dazhynki-2011", according to a BelTA correspondent. According to the President, it is no coincidence that the main assessment of the agricultural sector's performance in the new State Program for Sustainable Rural Development for 2011-2015 is defined as a sales profitability of 10-11%. An equally important task for the industry, stemming from the first one, is the growth of labor productivity. The new five-year program sets it at 167%. The President believes that this cannot be achieved without creating the necessary material and technical base. Therefore, extensive work lies ahead. It is necessary to build 875 dairy farms with the introduction of modern livestock housing and milking technologies, 72 modern pig breeding complexes with a complete production cycle, almost 800 new grain cleaning and drying complexes, as well as modern grain storage facilities with a capacity of almost 2 million tons. Alexander Lukashenko emphasized that this base must be created even in conditions of limited financial resources. Reasonable solutions should be found to reduce the cost of facilities, but not at the expense of their technological performance. -0-
