He stated this today, while receiving the letters of credence of the ambassadors of nine states, BELTA correspondent reports.
"I have no doubt that you will be able to assess our realities impartially and objectively, to be convinced that Belarus is not only a reliable and predictable partner, but also a true friend, ready to lend a shoulder in difficult times," the President said.
"I urge you to build not just mutually beneficial, but truly sincere, trusting relationships between our countries. And then your activities here will be truly successful," Alexander Lukashenko emphasized.
In turn, the President promised that as head of state, he would do his utmost to facilitate the effective work of diplomats on Belarusian soil.
"I am confident that, having become more familiar with our country, its rich history, culture, and traditions, you will become sincere friends of the Belarusian people, supporters of the ideas of mutually beneficial cooperation, equal and respectful dialogue," noted the head of the Belarusian state. Alexander Lukashenko expressed hope that the activities of each diplomat will make a significant contribution to strengthening precisely such relations and will promote the rapprochement of states, and the build-up of practical interaction in all areas. -0-
