He made this appeal today at a meeting on the current situation in the consumer and foreign exchange market, according to a BELTA correspondent. "Stop creating warehouses in your apartments," said the head of state. "If you need, for example, 1 kg of meat, buy it, but don't buy 10 kg. Not because there isn't enough. We won't be able to deliver three times more to the store than yesterday." Alexander Lukashenko noted that prices are "already exorbitant, they have nowhere else to go." The President does not understand why such a rush has arisen for goods that are produced in sufficient quantities in the country and their stocks will last for another year and a half to meet the needs of the population. Alexander Lukashenko said that during his visit to Kazakhstan, he was ashamed for the first time of some people who generated this high demand. "When the tragedy occurred in the metro, I felt pride for the people who rushed into the inferno without thinking, where there could have been a second, third explosion. But how ashamed I was of the Belarusian people when I arrived in Kazakhstan and everyone asked me what was happening in Belarus, why the shelves in the stores were empty," said Alexander Lukashenko.
