On May 27, Minsk /BELTA correspondent/. President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko demanded to stop price growth at a meeting on the current situation in the consumer and foreign exchange markets, BELTA correspondent reports.
"Any price growth from today must be suppressed in the harshest way," the President emphasized. According to him, price adjustments upwards are possible only with the permission of the Prime Minister and the governors. "But these eight people will have to prove it," the head of state said.
The President believes that there are no goods today for which prices need to be raised. -0-
