This was stated by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko today at the state awards ceremony, as reported by a BELTA correspondent. "High titles, orders and medals are a worthy recognition of your work, a source of pride for your families, loved ones, and those who work alongside you. You have achieved outstanding success, earned respect and recognition as true professionals and masters of your craft," stressed the Head of State, addressing the awardees. The President noted: "The future of Belarus is in the hands of proactive and goal-oriented people, those who want to make life better and are ready to make every effort to achieve this. Efforts and fruitful work are always rewarded. And our ceremony today is another confirmation of this." Among the awardees are representatives of the manufacturing sector. Alexander Lukashenko specifically highlighted the contribution to the development of domestic instrument engineering by Open Joint Stock Company "Peleng", Scientific and Production Unitary Enterprise "Atomtech", and Open Joint Stock Company "Display". They have mastered the production of competitive science-intensive products that are in demand not only in Belarus but also far beyond its borders. These include radiation measurement devices, optoelectronic equipment, and aviation monitors. "In the current five-year plan, the most important priority is innovation. Therefore, special attention is paid to your research, the implementation of new ideas, and the adoption of new technologies," emphasized the President. The Head of State specifically noted the fact that Belarus "has bet on a knowledge-based economy, which is largely built through the efforts of visionary managers, talented engineers, innovators, and inventors." In this regard, the President drew attention to the successes of the employees of CJSC "Soligorsk Institute of Resource Saving Problems", where the production of modern mining equipment has been mastered.
