Ambulatory Clinic in Novyye Valasavichy

The new outpatient clinic has become a real gift for the residents of Novye Volosovichi village and nearby settlements, who can at any time seek help from a paramedic, visit an obstetrician, a dentist, and undergo a set of necessary procedures.

The grand opening of the Novovolosovichi Medical Outpatient Clinic turned into a real celebration. Representatives of the regional executive committee's healthcare department, the district executive committee, the chief physician of the central district hospital, and medical workers of the Lepel district came to congratulate the villagers on this significant event.

Carrying out repair work and equipping medical institutions with equipment is impossible without the support of the authorities and the allocation of funds from the district budget. Along with sincere words of gratitude for the assistance in modernising the outpatient clinic, bread and salt were presented to the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Pyotr Shyshnyan. Pyotr Henrichavich congratulated the residents of the settlement on this joyous occasion. The Chairman of the District Executive Committee prepared a gift for the outpatient clinic staff – a microwave oven.

Andrei Andrushkin, Deputy Head of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee's Healthcare Department, addressed the attendees with warm wishes. Tamara Khatskevich, Chairperson of the Volosovichi Village Council, expressed sincere gratitude for the assistance in improving the material and technical base of the district's medical institutions. Alyaksandr Pishchulionak, Chief Physician of the healthcare institution "Lepel Central District Hospital," spoke about the improvement of medical services for the residents of the Lepel region. Lyudmila Nemyra, Director of Novaya Volosovichi Secondary School, heartily congratulated the outpatient clinic staff and the villagers on the opening of this socially important facility. She presented the head of the outpatient clinic, Tatsyana Mila, with a gift and a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

Viktor Mozov, Director of KUPV ZhKG "Lepel," expressed many warm words to the villagers. It was the employees of this enterprise and the Lepel Communal Unitary Repair and Construction Enterprise "Budawnik" who decorated and fitted out the premises.

Amidst warm applause, Viktor Mozov presented the symbolic key to the outpatient clinic to its head, Tatyana Milaya. And then came the long-awaited moment. The Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Pyotr Shykshnyan, the Chairperson of the Volosavitsky Village Council, Tamara Khatskevich, and the Chief Physician of the Central District Hospital, Alexander Pishchulenok, cut the red ribbon in front of the outpatient clinic entrance.

The guests gladly toured the cosy premises. Everything possible has been done in the outpatient clinic to ensure that every visitor feels warm and comfortable here. The registration desk is excellently equipped. Appropriate conditions have been created in the doctor's office, vaccination room, procedure room, and physiotherapy room. Convenience and comfort are provided in the day hospital ward. The rooms for the dentist, midwife, and laboratory assistant are excellently equipped.

As noted by Tatyana Milaya, the head of the Novo-Volosavitskaya Medical Outpatient Clinic, there are currently 1052 residents in the villages of the Volosavitsky Village Council, including 70 schoolchildren. Six infants have been born this year, and there are two pregnant women. Elderly people are examined every month. The outpatient clinic has everything necessary to provide adequate medical care. In addition to the head, a district nurse, a midwife, a dentist, a laboratory assistant, and four orderlies work here. The outpatient clinic is equipped with a UAZ vehicle. When the help of a specialist is needed, doctors from the central district hospital come here.

Medical services are constantly being improved, convenient, high-tech equipment is used, and at the same time, new methods of patient treatment are being implemented. Residents of rural areas, living tens of kilometres away from the district centre, have the right to treatment in convenient and comfortable conditions. Everything possible is being done to achieve this.
