An analysis of the operational situation in road traffic indicates that the problem of injuries to road users due to the fault of drivers of two-wheeled motor vehicles becomes more acute every year in April-May. In January-March 2019, 9 road traffic accidents were caused by drivers of motor transport (1 in 2018), in which 2 people were killed (0 in 2018) and 8 were injured (2 in 2018).
At the same time, the problem of insufficient discipline among motorcyclists remains relevant, which, against the backdrop of an increase in the number of registered motor vehicles in the republic, is often a contributing factor to road traffic accidents.
In order to increase the effectiveness of the internal affairs bodies in preventing road traffic accidents involving motor transport, promoting road safety in the operation of motorcycles and mopeds, fostering mutual respect among road users, and suppressing hooligan actions by motorcyclists, the republican preventive campaign "Open the Season Without Violations!" will be held from April 12 to April 21, 2019.
