The President’s Aide – Inspector for the Vitebsk Region, Anatoly Linevich, held a "hotline" and an on-site reception of citizens in the Liozno District.
The first call came from a villager from the village of Barseevo with a request to resolve the issue of the lack of sanitary areas and containers where local residents could dispose of waste. Anatoly Linevich tasked the Liozno Housing and Communal Services with solving the problem by December 1.
The next call was from Sharkovshchina. Tatyana S. had previously contacted Anatoly Konstantinovich regarding the connection of water to her house, but the problem had not yet been resolved, and the applicant was not satisfied with the local authorities' response that connecting water was inexpedient. The President’s Aide explained to the resident of Sharkovshchina that this issue is currently under special control, as the house does not fully meet the definition of "habitable," and therefore the local authorities are currently seeking options to provide people with housing.
Inna G., a resident of Liozno, had repeatedly appealed to the local authorities with a request to open a pharmacy in the urban settlement beyond the railway crossing, so as not to have to travel to the centre for medication. She also called the "hotline" of Anatoly Linevich with this request, and he instructed the district executive committee to resolve this issue before the New Year.
Sergey M., a local resident, attended the reception of the President’s Aide. The man asked for a change in the public transport schedule and also raised other issues for which explanations had already been provided.
“Today, in accordance with the law, we must respond to all citizens' questions, including those from people who, due to their age, cannot always formulate a question correctly or it lacks specificity. We must listen to everyone, try to resolve the issue to the best of our ability, and if it is impossible, then we must certainly explain the reasons to the person,” noted Anatoly Linevich.
A total of four people appealed to the President’s Aide. The small number of appeals is due to the fact that many requests from local residents are promptly resolved at the local level. For example, the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Ivan Fedorov, although he has only been in office for three months, has already managed to hold a personal reception of citizens, which was attended by 11 people.
– The public knows the phone number they can reach me at, as it is publicly available. We try to resolve all incoming queries promptly, provided they do not require significant financial expenditure, – noted Ivan Fedorov. – Today, our work with citizens' appeals is very well established; the chairpersons of the district and rural councils of deputies are aware of people's problems and strive to resolve them in a working manner. And today we saw the result – only one person came to the reception.
During his visit to Liozno District, Anatoly Linevich communicated with the management staff, met with the personnel reserve for leadership positions in the region, and the workforces of UP ZhKH Liozno District and OAO "Novaya Dubrava-Agro".
