"We must earn the quality brand not only in the domestic market but also in foreign markets," stated Anzhelika Nikitina, Deputy Chairperson of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, today during the seminar "Five-Year Plan for Quality. Product Quality and Safety in Modern Conditions" held at the RUP "Vitebsk Centre for Standardization, Metrology and Certification."
– All enterprises in the Vitebsk region produce high-quality products, but the system is constantly being improved, new criteria are emerging, and if products do not meet them, they will not be competitive, – noted Anzhelika Nikitina, Deputy Chairperson of the Regional Executive Committee. – Therefore, given that 60% of the products manufactured by enterprises in the Vitebsk region are exported, we must earn this brand not only in the Belarusian market but also in the markets of our closest partners – the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, as well as countries in Asia and the Far East. This is highly relevant for Belarus today, not only within the framework of the quality five-year plan but also in principle for our export potential in the near future.
The Vitebsk region has launched a series of training seminars under the auspices of the State Committee for Standardization, with the participation of executive authorities and enterprise managers.
